New Advertising Concept Prelaunch

Wednesday 31 October 2007 @ 3:57 am

I’ve been talking a great deal about advertising and how to increase your traffic lately. Well I’m gonna do it again today! I just started working on a project for another one of my friends (at least I am getting paid this time). When we sat down to talk about what he wanted I kept asking, “You want what?” because I had never heard of a company running it’s business this way. But I must admit, the more I think about it, the better it sounds. The programming is fairly straight forward so I won’t bore you with the details of the it, but I just have to tell you something about the program itself.

My friend’s name is Fred Mertz. He has come up with an advertising idea that just might work. To get truly targeted traffic, you have to get people to want to click the link to your web site. If they are just surfing for credits, chances are, they are not interested in what you are selling. But the more web sites you can get to carry your ad, the better your traffic will be. That is the concept behind all the pay-per-click (PPC) ad companies out there. The problem is, most of them are way too expensive for the average Joe because you have to bid for impressions and there are huge monthly fees to boot. That means if you want the same ad space as say Wal*Mart, you have to bid higher than they do for it. Yeah, sometimes you can get the top spot for as little as 20 or 30 cents. But that’s usually because the keywords were not used by very many other web sites. In other words, it’s not that good a spot.

What if you could get one of the best spots on any web page? And what if it only cost you a nickel to do it? Wouldn’t that be great? Well pretty soon you will be able to do just that! ‘Fred’s Corner Peel Ad-Coop‘ will be the answer. A recent study has shown that those peel-down corner ads that have been cropping up all over the place are (statistically speaking) the best place to put your ad! Now the problem is, you can buy these peel-down scripts and put your own ad on your own web site, but think about this… You worked hard, probably spent a good deal of money to get this surfer to your web site. Now you are going to try to sell him something else you have for sale (maybe another opportunity). That’s fine, but now you have to go out and find another surfer who is interested in what you have to sell. It gets expensive!

With ‘Fred’s Corner Peel Ad-Coop‘ your ad will be placed under that corner on many other web sites! The best part is, it won’t cost you a thing until someone actually clicks on your ad!!! Beats paying just to put your ad in front of them when they don’t click on it! A coop is a group of people who share with each other. Fred’s coop is just that. You get your ad placed under these attractive peel-down corners all over the world, on all sorts of web sites. And you don’t have to pay unless your ad gets clicked. Oh yeah, I almost forgot… Fred’s program will pay you 20% to display ads on your web site, too! Any way, this will be one heck of a program and I just wanted to give my readers a heads-up about it. You can’t join now because the programming (I’m doing) isn’t ready yet. But watch this blog and I will tell you when you can!

In the mean time, if you really want some information about this brand new concept in advertising, you can write to Fred and he will answer all your questions. I will be looking forward to seeing this program in action!

Getting Traffic By Ezine Marketing :

Tuesday 30 October 2007 @ 9:13 pm

Ezines have been around the Internet for years now!

Studies have shown ezine marketing can yield good results,
if done right.

Solo ad ezine marketing can boost your affiliate and mlm
links traffic.

Ezine solo ads can also be used to promote your different
products and services, especially in the Internet marketing
arena.

You need to Test an ezine list with at least 3 solo ads,
before starting a steady solo ad campaign with 5 to upto
10 solo ads, and then measure your results.

First, you need to find an ezine with ‘work at home’ and
‘work from your home computer’ type of subscriber list in
order to do your Internet marketing.

Point to remember is that, some solo ads in an ezine setting
will pay off, but some wont. That’s just the nature of
marketing and advertising business!

So, pick an ezine and : Test, Test and Test with at least
3 solo ads.

how to become a notary public

Tuesday 30 October 2007 @ 3:21 am

Property is transferred, trusts are revised and marriage vows substantiated, it is all in a day’s work for a notary. Doing work behind the scenes, the Notary Public executes crucial affairs for businesses, real estate transactions, the legal system and the general public. You could say a Notary Public makes up the eyes and ears of the justice system by making sure that the signatory to a written document is precisely identified and that the signer acts of their own volition without pressure. Small wonder a Notary Public is known as the “witness for the people” .

So how can you become a notary public? The qualifications required vary from state to state. All states and jurisdictions have 3 common requirements:
complete the application, pay a fee and take the oath of office. An applicant must be a minimum 18 years of age. A few states, such as Florida, also require training to be completed prior to gaining an appointment as a notary. It is not a lifetime appointment, and the renewal period will be set by each state.

Some states require you to take an exam in order to become a notary, others don’t impose this restriction. Most states expect that a Notary Public will be able to read and write in English. As a Notary Public assesses written documents, being able to read the language of the document appears fair.

Becoming a notary public in a few states needs the endorsement or reference from one or more residents, court officials, county officials or attorneys from that state. Speaking of lawyers, some states automatically award them the privileges of notary public. As many legal documents need to be notarized, this is very useful.

Cheap Hotel Rooms

Sunday 28 October 2007 @ 10:42 pm

Get cheap hotel rooms using a few techniques and traveler’s secrets. When you get off the bus in the Andean Mountain resort town of Banos, Ecuador, you ll see several people quickly moving towards you.
Some of them will be the actual owners of the hotels in town, and others are working on commission.
They ll offer you cheap hotel rooms, and they ll all claim to have the nicest and the cheapest. This onslaught of salesmen may annoy you at first, until you realize what it means.
There are vacant rooms tonight, and there is real competition They have tipped their hands, and you are in charge now.
Let the contest begin When my wife and I were in Banos recently, we let an older woman drag us off from the bus station.
She showed us two hotels she owned, and we preferred the second.
It was clean, with cable T.V. And lots of hot water.
We offered $6 per night, paying for four nights in advance.
She agreed. The lesson is clear if you want the cheapest hotel room: Negotiate The owner knew we were ready to walk away, and that there were others waiting for our business.
Unfortunately, most owners here in the U.S. Would rather let you drive away than knock five bucks off the room rate.
Even here, however, we have negotiated decent discounts by paying for several nights in advance.
Of course we let them know that we ll be looking elsewhere if they say no. You can use web sites, such as Cheap Tickets.Com to find cheapest hotel rooms.
However, they only give you rates for the hotels and motels that are in their system.
For example, I just did a search for Tucson, Arizona.
Cheap Tickets.Com was the easiest site to use, and found the best rates of the sites I tried.
However, I could show you several nice motels here in Tucson that are $15 cheaper than the cheapest rate they found. In other words, these sites are convenient, and worth using when you have nothing else, but they will never show you all your options.
Here are some other ways to get cheap rooms. Freeway Coupon BooksGet coupon books at gas stations along the highways.
We ve almost always found good deals using these.
It s rare that a manager won’t honor the coupon.
Generally, only if they re absolutely full will they refuse.
Read the fine print, though.
They often charge more for certain dates, or for two people. Use The Magic Words For Cheap Hotel Rooms. There are promotions done where if you mention this ad or just use the right words, you get up to 70% discount.
Talk, talk, talk.
Tell them if you re a member of the AARP, AAA or whatever.
Tell the person on the phone that you saw an ad in the Times, or whatever big paper they might have advertised in. Get the receptionist to help you.
Try asking what the magic words are.
Some receptionists will tell you.
You might also ask What do I have to say to get the cheapest rate They will sometimes tell you, or suggest other options.

Nintendo Wii Game Console

Sunday 28 October 2007 @ 10:39 pm

By Christian Louis

The nintendo Wii game console has to be the first games console to get you up off your chair and onto your feet.
Wii Sports, the game that comes bundled with the hardware, will have you waiving your arms around, punching your fists and, if you’re not careful, bumping into the furniture and
falling over your gamer friends.

Nintendos seventh generation gaming console was code named Revolution. It sought to becoming futuristic and including all conveniences like a wireless controller and Wii remote which has three dimensional functions.

The controller also receives messages from the web, because of the built in “wii connect 24″

Slated for release in the US in mid Nov 2006, the Ninetendo Wii game console won the Game Critics Award for Best of Show and Best Hardware at the E3 2006.

The hardware of the gaming console is state-of-art with the unit being the smallest measuring just 157 mm in height :

• The nintendo Wii game console will have one SD card slot and two USB ports.

• In the front is The loading slot and that accepts 12cm optical discs and 8 cms discs from
Nintendo’s older console.

• Broadway is the name of the wii cpu processor with a 90nm SOI CMOS process. The Memory of the Wii is 1T-SRAM.

• The Wii remote has infrared detection and accelerometers that enables positioning in 3D
space. That means gamers can use buttons as well as participate in the game using hand
gestures.

Bluetooth technology is used to connect to the wii console through the controler.
There are umpteen functions like connectivity to other devices, 4KB non volatile memory
and an accelerometer, trigger buttons and analog stick.

• The Nintendo Wii game console has 512 MB built-in flash memory that can be expanded using an SD card.

• The Wii has four remote controller slots; two USB ports; one sensor bar port;one SD memory slot; four Nintendo game cube controller ports; two Nintendo game cube memory card ports; WiFi 802.11.b/g wireless built in ports.

• The world wide web is reached through the usb and wifi to ethernet adapter.

• In Japan the console will have DVD –Video capabilities. A Sonic Solutions Cine Player CE
DVD Navigator software engine will be used in consoles to be released in 2007 with DVD-Video functions.

• The nintendo Wii game console has a sensor bar that can be positioned such that the Wii remote can be used as an accurate pointing device from a distance of 5 meters. However the sensor bar¨is sensitive to halogen lights and sunlight affecting its functions.

With 20 games slated for launch all with motion sensor elements the concept isn’t a half
hearted affair and in our play with Truma Center, Zelda, Under the Knife, Wii Sports and
Excite Truck it’s clear that the addition of the controller will certainly make for some
good gaming fun - especially when it comes to swashbuckling.

The Wii Wi-Fi service will feature a standard interface like Xbox Live. In much the same
way as the Nintendo DS hand held does, the Wii utilises a Friend Code system. In this case
there is one code for each console.

In this system’s current implementation on the DS, each Wi-Fi enabled game carries with it a unique ID called a Friend Code. To play with your friends, you must each register the
other’s Friend Code in the game. This system has been met with some criticism in comparison to Xbox Live since it does not employ a single unifying Friend Code, and codes must be entered on a game-by-game basis. However the Wii game console has one code for all games.

The console will always be online, even when powered off (standby). This quiet time is used
to update games, such as adding new features, characters, and even gifts for you!

Nintendo Wii: It’s cheap. It’s fun to play and extremely original. It’s great to play with
in large groups and there are plenty of titles available that don’t involve spilling the
blood of your peers. A great option for the here-and-now gamer. Ideal for 30-minute
lighthearted gaming sessions every now and then. If you don’t care about future-proofing
and you just want to have some fun, this is for you.

What can I say. So many people I know have bought one, and I never stop hearing how great they are.

Final verdict: Don’t go for a PS3. Instead, buy a nintendo Wii game console AND an Xbox 360. That way, you spend only a little more than what the PS3 would cost you, but you’ll get the full gaming experience. There you have it, that was easy wasn’t it?

Advanced CD/DVD Image File Features

Sunday 28 October 2007 @ 12:25 pm

When you think of making CD/DVD backups on your harddrive, you usually think of ISO files. ISO is the most common disc image format, but it’s far from being the most advanced. Today I’ll describe some advanced features and disc backup formats you didn’t know about (probably).

Password protection
Useful when you don’t want anyone else to be able to use your CD/DVD backups. It’s possible to encrypt them with specialized encryption software, but some disc image file formats support this feature natively. For example, DAA files can be password-protected.

Encryption
Hmm, isn’t this the same as password protection? Not always. The simplest password protection schemes don’t actually encrypt anything, so with some effort it would still be possible to extract information from the “protected” files. ISO files don’t support encryption, but you can use the UIF file format to really protect your backups. DAA files can also be encrypted, but inmy opinion the .uif format offers better security.

Compression
There are lots of file archivers available to compress your CD/DVD backups, but some disc image formats have the compression built in. For example, .daa files and .uif files will both take up less space than the original disc because they are compressed. This is also one of the reasons why you sometimes see these formats used in file downloads (smaller files = faster download).

Storing Multisession Images
This doesn’t come up often, but as to my knowledge, if a disc contains multiple sessions, you can’t store them all in a single ISO file. Only UIF files support this feature.

Splitting Into Smaller Files
Again, this is more common in download sites and peer-to-peer networks. Typically WinRAR is used to split a large file into many smaller chunks, but sometimes other formats, like the .daa extension, are employed. The downside of this is that the DAA format is proprietary and most CD/DVD software can’t handle it.

Why You Can Make Money Blogging

Sunday 28 October 2007 @ 12:17 pm

You can make big money blogging. There are people just like you that have created blogs that initially garnered a few dollars and went on to make a $1000 a day.

So why are blogs such money makers?

There are several reasons. First of all, blogs are personal. These websites are windows into the life of real people. They build relationships with readers. A certain degree of intimacy can be created.

Secondly, their interactive, other people can comment and start up a dialogue when the blogger hits a resonant chord.

A third reason for their growing popularity is that blogs are easy-to-build. They make it accessible for anyone to have a website without paying a webmaster a huge sum.

So why do these factors cause a blogs to be big money magnets?

The answer is found by doing what police detectives do: You follow the money.

On the Internet huge amounts of money gets raked in by the Search Engines.

Google, Yahoo!, MSN and other browsers – like companies in every other industry – are all vying for marketshare. More people means more money. To gain advantage users like you and me must feel the browser is helping us find what we need.

To the people who run the search engines that means having a way of bringing you the information you want. As a customer you type in words describing what you are looking for. You hope that you get a list of very relevant sites that really match what you want.

The better the browser can do this the less likely you will be to hop over to another competing search engine.

So, it is in the best interest of these companies to create better search results for you. These organizations have created smart little robots – called bots or spiders – that troll the Internet looking those sites that are popular over time and have a lot of up-to-date information.

The bottom line is that search engine spiders are looking for two things: fresh content and places that other people go to regularly.

Blogs provide that.

Because the information is personal and unique – written by both the blogger and readers – blogs consistently create new content. Spiders love it and so they reward you with a higher ranking in the search results page.

The higher you get on the pages the more visitors are likely to check out your blog. You become what is called “an authority site.”

The next thing that makes your blog very popular is having links from other authority sites. To the bots having other well-liked sites point to you means you must be offering relevant information. It means the same thing to people as well.

So now you can see that the important thing about blogs is that they attract traffic.

Thousands of people click on the very first links they find when the search engine brings them results. Your blog can be right up there on the list.

On the Internet getting lots of traffic is the first part of a formula for making money. The second part has to do with what precisely you put on your blog that people can buy.

Stay tuned, on the next post I will show you exactly what it takes to make money blogging.

More Search Engine Traffic Means More Money

Sunday 28 October 2007 @ 12:10 pm

In my first post, I showed you that blogs make money because they bring in more search engine traffic than just a static website. Having fresh content and evidence that your site is popular rewards you with a higher position in the search engine results page.

Traffic is the one of the crucial ingredients to having a profitable business – and blogs can give you that.

But there is another critical requirement.Simply having a blog full of postings and comments will not make you money.

Imagine opening up a sporting goods store in your town. You place an ad in the newspaper. This ad hits a resonant chord and pulls in hundreds of people to your door. The problem is that your shelves are bare.

As this scenario illustrates: you need a product to sell. Maybe you have a product in mind. Perhaps you have a business already. Perhaps you are looking for a product or products to sell.

In this posting, I am going to address this last possibility. You want to make money online but have no product. One solution to this problem is something called affiliate marketing.

What is affiliate marketing?

In a nutshell, affiliate marketing is selling other people’s products and getting a percentage of the sale. There are thousands of people online with products they want to sell. These people are willing to give you anywhere
from 2 to 75% of the price, if you bring them new customers.

In many cases, the person with the product has a website that you can use. So you don’t have to have a website. The site has sales copy designed to convert a visitor into a customer. This is the third essential component of a thriving business. Having products and attracting traffic are critical but it is just as important that all those visitors go from being shoppers to buyers.

The person with the product also has a method already for in place for making the financial transaction as well. So once you bring a potential customer to the sales page, your job is over. If a sale is made then you are sent the money on a regular basis.

Obviously not everyone going to a sales page purchases what is offered. It is quite likely that the person selling the product has collected statistics showing what percentage of visitors actually buys. If that number is high, you can make some good money.
The good news is that becoming an affiliate is usually free.

All you need to do is get an affiliate ID – which is actually a unique link that you put in your blog at the end of every post you make. You will see such a link at the end of this article.

So by now, you might be wondering what it takes to set up a traffic-pulling blog.

In the next post I will write about this important subject and get into some of the details of how to drive more search engine traffic to your blog.

Bad Credit Personal Loan can still be Available.

Sunday 28 October 2007 @ 11:54 am

The social consequences of declaring bankruptcy is the principal concern for people who find themselves in a sticky final situation, in most cases through no fault of their own. Bad luck, bad planning, bad business decisions or a culmination of all three can bring on this regrettable situation. Many people who do take the step of declaring personal bankruptcy are so concerned with the shame of becoming insolvent, that they are unable to see the light at the end of the tunnel. They are so concerned with clearing their debts and their good name that they are incapable of seeing that once they have declared bankruptcy bad credit personal loans can still be available to them.

People who have filed for bankruptcy protection from their creditors can still find finance companies who will lend to them. Any loans granted will invariably be under some form of security, usually a family member. These loans will bear a much heavier interest rate then the norm. In other words, whilst it is possible to
receive an after bankruptcy bad credit personal loan; it will be a costly business.
Unless the circumstances are exceptional, these loans should be steered clear of, and especially not to repay any of the trustee payments to discharge the bankruptcy.

People who declare bankruptcy should be well aware of two points. One is that when applying for credit in any form, they have to declare the fact that they have been declared bankrupt within a time frame of up to seven years. The second is, that no matter the circumstances, they are disallowed from declaring
Bankruptcy again for a further seven years. Failure to uphold these court legislations can be very severe and will always result in bankruptcy bad credit personal loan granters holding the debtor personally responsible for his debts, and will not be allowed any protection from the court.

Overall the courts have become much more sympathetic to people who file for bankruptcy, and are very inclined to take into account the circumstances that caused this regrettable situation. Despite that fact, the laws of bankruptcy are crystal clear, and a person who has been declared bankrupt has to be open about their situation. Having said that, lenders have displayed more flexibility in a lot of cases, and the automatic rejection of bankruptcy bad credit personal loan applications is no longer a foregone conclusion.

After declaring bankruptcy, the interest rates around bankruptcy bad credit personal loan interest rates will be much higher than pre-bankruptcy. For this reason the debtor should soundly weigh up the cost and consequences of borrowing more money, especially at inflated rates. Borrowing expensive money will certainly not help the borrower get out of the situation they find themselves in. The opposite usually applies and the bankrupt find themselves in even more debt than previously.

Advertising Online – 3 Effective Ways to Online Advertising

Sunday 28 October 2007 @ 11:51 am

Over the past years, advertising online has proven to be the most effective strategy in promoting a product. It’s second only to outdoor advertising and surpassed radio and movie in terms of effectiveness and advertiser use.

Online businesses and traditional companies are going online now to market and promote their business and brands. Whether you own a big and relatively established company or a new enterprise, advertising online should be your top method for product branding and promotions. Here are 3 effective ways to online advertising which could lead to your company’s success:

1. The most common and probably the affordable way to online promotion is through pay per click advertising. You will only pay for your ads if someone clicks on your link. There are also other variations of this advertising scheme like Cost per Thousand or CPM where you pay publishers for every thousand visitors brought to your site. Cost per Visitor or CPV is also another type of this advertising. You will pay publishers for every targeted visitor redirected to your site. Cost per Action on the other hand will cost you advertising money if a visitor who clicked your link successfully transacted with you.

2. Another popular way to advertise online is through the use of Rich Media. This is also called banner advertising. You will purchase banners and pay its hosting on websites owned by the publishers or web hosting companies. There are many kinds of banner ads you can choose and some of them are very artistic and interactive. This advertising scheme has been proven to be very effective especially in brand recall.

3. You can also use the search engines for online advertising. There are many types of advertising using search engine companies. The most popular is paid placement, where you pay for contextual linked ads placed prominently on top or side columns of search result pages.
